Langley - the village by the sea - this is where we first fell in love with Whidbey.

Langley - this is where we first fell in love with Whidbey, we have been here for so many special afternoons, short day trips and long weekends. It's a short ferry ride from Mukiteo and feels like a million miles away. The pace is slow and the town is full of bunnies. Magical. The shops are sweet and the restaurants are wonderful. For brunch we love the Braeburn, Ultra House is a tiny fantastic ramen shop, and for family dinner we recommend Village Pizza. For a date night we could sit outside on the patio at Prima Bistro for hours.

One of our favorite Langley trips is a stop in the Star Store for dinner ingredients and a bottle of wine, and next door at Saltwater Fish House for a to go order of hot smoked salmon nuggets. Quick drive back up to the house and it's the perfect PNW happy hour.
